MEET THE OWNER AND THERAPIST

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor from Dallas, Texas. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. I am a Christian counselor who uses Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to create a working alliance focused on empowerment, trust, compassion, and collaboration for fostering change.
As your future therapist, I will:
- Provide an accepting atmosphere free of judgement.
- Sit with you through uncomfortable moments.
- Help you manage difficult emotions.
- Walk with you through hard seasons of life.
- Encourage you to release burdens you were never meant to carry alone.

Soul Work Therapy Specialties:
Anxiety, Depression, Complex/childhood trauma, Relationship Issues, Life Transitions, Grief and Loss, Stress Management, and Self-esteem issues.
Seeking a therapist takes courage, strength, and vulnerability, so I applaud you for taking such a brave step.
At Soul Work Therapy Center, our approach is rooted in the belief that each person’s path is unique. Ultimately, our goal is to empower individuals to embrace their journey towards mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, supporting them every step of the way.
In therapy, you might be given “Soul Work” exercises and tasks to complete outside of your sessions to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself. Here are a few examples of these Soul Work assignments:
- setting boundaries with others
- writing in your therapy journal
- reading a book discussed in therapy
- trying new self-soothing techniques
- challenging anxious thoughts
- changing undesirable behavior
- seeking social support
- practicing mindfulness

Soul Work Therapy provides both in-person and virtual sessions to accommodate your needs. We understand that everyone has their own unique preferences and comfort levels. Whether you feel more at ease with in-person sessions or find virtual sessions to be a better fit for your current circumstances, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
